Rod Rodriguez is another Bakersfield boy.  Born and raised in sunny Bakersfield, California, Rod started early in life as a brick layer with his dad.

Rod is the youngin' of the group.  He started playing drums in the mid 90's when he joined a local Bakersfield band and started playing at the Moose Lodge on Goodman Street.

Don't let the fact that Rod has been playing for a short time fool you!  His beat is as steady as a rock, and he's not afraid to play anything.

Rod has played in Bakersfield with a number of groups.  He is in very much demand for his style and easy going nature.  Plus the fact that I think he has a built in metronome in his head.
